Introduction

Track and Trace users are accounts for users who can trace shipments on the T&T (Track & Trace) system, can see events and see or keyin bookings in the web which are available in Scope immediately. The advantage here is that the user works on the same database as the SCOPE system and therefore movements and changes to the shipments are visible immediately for the user.

Description

In this application the access to the T&T system will be maintained. In addition, the basic settings for customer bookings are carried out.

Modify an existing account.

Deletes an existing account.

Refresh

Refresh of the Homeview.

Login

The login name of the account.

Name

The name of the account holder.

Email

The Email address of the account.

Partner

Shipments with participation of any of those partners are visible for this account.

Maintain Details

General

Login

The login of the account. It has to be a Email address.

Name

The name, which will be shown to the User after login.

Email

The Email address of the account. This is important, because to that address informations about a possible change of the password will be send.

Password / Password (again)

The password used in conjunction with the login used to authenticate the account.The password is not shown. The Track & Trace User may change his password at any time via the webside.

Telephone

A telephone number can be stored for information.

Activation Date

The date from which the account can be used. If it leaves empty, the access can be used immediately.

De-Activation Date

The date up to which the account can be used. If the date leaves empty, no restriction of the period of utilisation exists.

(warning) The temporal restriction of the access refers not to the data view, but only to logging in an access. (warning)

Language

  • Browser Select: The T&T Webside use the settings of the Access/User Account, who login.
  • English: The T&T Webside will be shown in English.
  • German: The T&T Webside will be shown in German.

As a language it is supported only in German and in English. If "Browser Select" a not supported language is requested (possibly e.g. Chinese), it is used in English.

Profile

  • Default - the profile is used which is maintained in the appliance Web settings (by RSI) under layout.
  • Profile name, selectable from list of the existing profiles. This profiles are maintained in the appliance Web settings (by RSI) under profiles.

Statistic Layout

In the Webtracking the visible shipment data can be downloaded as Excel file. The format of the Excel file is defined in the statistic layout.

  • Default - the XLS file will contain everything that is indicated on the screen (WYSIWYG) , so Shipment Type, Shipment Number, Place of Departure, Place of Arrival, Sender, Receiver, Colli, Volume, House-Document Number, Collector Shipment Number, Ref. Receiver, Ref. Sender, Achievement date, ETA, ETD, ATA and ATD
  • Individual layouts can be created / modified with the appliance "Forwarding - Statistics - Layouts".

With the button XLS, the account holder can create the report with the given layout. The report will not contain any Turnover/ Costs or other financial information.

Tracking

Partners

Shipments with participation of any of those partners are visible for this account. If "bookings" are enabled, the available Sender/Shipper are determined from this list. At least one business partner is necessary.

Legal Entities Restricions

If set, only shipments belonging to any of the selected legal entities are shown to this account.

Default Mime-Types (/Documenttypes)

The follow documents will be displayed in the T&T tab in the shipemnt as default based on the role.

The role is determined by the business partners and is depending on:

ExportBooking / ExportShipment / ImportShipment

Additionally allowed Mime-Types

Overlap is possible. If different partners have different roles on one shipment, the account will see documents for all roles accordingly.

With the function "Additionally Allowed Mime Types" access to other documents can be granted (view and download).

Denied Mime-Types

With this function the documents which would be visible by the default settings of the role can be hidden.

Enable Event Keyin

If the field "Enable Event-Input" is selected, the user may submit events for shipments. Only events listed in the additonal events may be created. At least one event-type must be selected. 

 (warning) These events can be seen at Scope at once. (warning)

Additionally Allowed Events

At the T&T Webside the following events will be show as default:

  • all InttraEventTypes (e.g. INTTRA:AN Delivered to Air Carrier or INTTRA:EA Estimate approved)

  • all TrkinsStatusUpdateType (e.g. DEP Flight departed or AWD Documents received at destination airport)

The additonal event types will be shown on the webside.

Bookings

Enable Bookings

With this function the Access/User Account can be acitvated for bookings. Bookings are available immediately in Scope.

Consignees

Here a list of the possible consignees of the Access/User Account can be maintained. Additionally one-time-addresses can be used any time.

Allow Bookings in Branches

Define a list of the branches where the account may create bookings. At least one branch must be selected if bookings are enabled.

User History

At this tab the following informations to the Access will be shown:

  • Module: WEB: Webtracking
  • Event: LOGIN, LOGOUT or PASSWORD RESET
  • Info: SUCCESS after successfully login, FAILED after unsuccessfully login, DENIED if the user is blocked,  Account unblocked, if the account has been unblocked again, REQUESTED after PASSWORD RESET or DONE after successfully PASSWORD RESET
  • Time: Timestamp (Date, Time)

Here one can get a quick overview how actively an Access/User uses to the T&T access.

If the user has tried to announce himself several times one after the other in vain, the account is closed. With the fourth unsuccessful attempt, the access for 9 minutes remains closed, however, can become any time from an Adminstrator a reactivation. After the reactivation the user can log in again !
