Freight and other charges amounts can be registered on tab General of air and ocean import shipments.
The amounts are stored to facilitate customs procedures for these shipments.
The shipment overview has been extended with the following fields:
Tariffs can now be defined for fixed routes on transport orders.
Departure / Destination UN/Locodes of Pickup / Unloading are used for this.
For this purpose each screen for transport orders contains UN/Locode fields.
Application example - a general agreed terminal delivery in Frankfurt DEDUS-DEFRA
Further application examples:
Pick-Up, Delivery, Container Pick-Up, Container Delivery, Delivery to Terminal
For tariffs which are applicable for several Pickup / Unloading places, it is advisable to use regions, to avoid multiple tariffs
As an alternative, Zip-Zones are also available.
With Scope 9.0 a Cost Center can be assigned to an activity type.
The Cost Center can be dependent of the Shipment Type, the Customer, or a rendered service (for example the customs clearance by another branch).
The Activity Types Cost Center always refers to all order types, and cannot be split.
It is important to define the value of the cost center under Maintenance > Finance > Cost Centers > Filter
The Cost Center has a higher value than the branch ! If an activity type matches based on Cost Center and another activity type on Branch, the one on Cost Center will prevail.
Scope 8.6 introduced Intercompany-Billing.
There are now 3 options:
Select the order for the opposite party yourself
Only when the Import Pre-Alert is confirmed by the "opposite party", and an AWB has been issued, is it possible to assign a shipment number.
Do not create the accounts payable entry for the opposite party automatically.
Incoming invoice are registered manually by the opposite party with the invoice at hand.
The following requirements need to be fulfilled:
Basis-Types for the calculation of Airfreight (AF) and Seafreight (OF) are limited as follows:
AF and OF Selling: same basis as per buying tariffs, additional "amount charge type (cost)", that need to refer to a buying tariff then
When selecting an invalid basis, Scope will indicate the valid basis types
Existing tariffs with other basis types are not migrated. They remain applicable, but they cannot be modified unless the basis is changed.
Buying and selling seafreight tariffs can be defined specifically for either FCL and/or LCL.
Cancelling a shipment causes a pop-up to appear and a cancellation reason will have to be chosen. Cancellation reasons can be defined as category "Cancel order" via Maintenance > Reasons.
For destinations with no airfreight buying tariff available, Scope calculated in release 8.6 minus 6% of the IATA Rate as accrual amount.
This automatic calculation has been removed now.
If no buying tariff is available, the estimates (EP) for Airfreight will show no amount.
In the Air Import module it is possible to import manifests in a master shipment via "Import CSV".
This reduces the manual effort to add individual HAWB shipment details to a minimum or it even eliminates entry completely!
It is advisable to save mappings per Export Agent for a pre-set next import
Course of action:
Fill out all header data and save.
Especially important: Enter the export agent
"Import CSV" trigger per mouse click
The minimum requirements for supplied data are as follows:
- Gross Weight
Shipper + Consignee
- Partner Code
- Company name
c.) State -> federal state (for US clients necessary to enter ISO Code example TX Texas)
Ranking with criteria
1. Top priority, the partner code is matched
2.) Match the external IDs provided by the Agent to your partner codes by using the EDI-Profile
3. One-time address referring to the address data
Especially when accruing follow-up costs it is recommended to have a direct partner match for the debtor.
The AWB editor has been redesigned.
The rating lines in particular are modeled more closely to the AWB calculations.
HS codes can be edited in the text line again.
Previously, the defined HS Codes per piece were summed up on a line
Volumes are transferred on line level now
Set System parameters "Combine_DGR_Tariff_Lines" to separate or combine the tariff line for DGR and non DGR
In the AWB Editor for HAWB and MAWB, e-AWB addresses for shipper, consignee and notify can be differentiated.
It is recommended that an "individual-AWB Address" is defined for agents using Partners > Roles > Agent > Airfreight
With Scope 9.0 Sea Export Masters get a shipment number even if they don't contain consolidated houses.
The Vermas message (which contains the VGM-Information) can be sent separately for master and single shipment/FCL single shipments.
The connected portals are: INTTRA / GT-Nexus / Cargosmart.
A new action link is available under B/L Instructions in the general tab of the shipment. The user can use the new link to transmit the VGM Information prior to the B/L Instructions. When sending the B/L Instructions message the Vermas data will no longer be part of the Shipping Instructions (SI) message. However, if the Vermas message was not sent at the time the user sends the B/L Instruction, it will be sent automatically (as a separate message) when the user transmits the B/L Instructions message.
User will see the information in B/L editor under "Send shipping instructions".
BHT orders can now be created with AES - AND - BHT customs details at the line level
Dakosy HDS: adaptation "DUX" Registration by 01.03.2017:
According to the Zapp-Newsletter 35 the registration "DUX" changes on March 2017 have been implemented. Additionally two exceptions for registration "MIT" were removed per January 2017.
In AGS Import declarations a new option has been added by means of which Scope will automatically calculate a B00 value in declarations. The B00 value is the additional amount representing the cost applicable on the shipment between arrival at EU border and delivery at the consignee's address. This value is subject to the VAT calculation applicable on the goods at the moment of clearance.
In the old Sagitta system this was called the "herleidingswaarde OB" and was mandatory in case of customs declarations for VAT responsible parties not holding an "Art. 23-btw-verlegging" license. In AGS this value is no longer validated as mandatory.
Due to the optional status of the B00 value, it was easily forgotten and therefore an automatic calculation has been created. At this moment the B00 value will consist of the calculated KN charges. In a future release Scope will add an additional field to store separately the "Inland Freight Cost" for an extended automatic calculation.
Although the B00 will be calculated on each applicable declaration it will not be sent to NL Customs without indication by the user or in the partner setup. In certain situations, for instance limitied fiscal representation, B00 registration, either automatically or manually done, can be used to complete reporting requirements. Should the B00 be sent to NL Customs in case of absence of the "Art 23-btw-verlegging" license, this can be indicated in the field "Send VAT Base". If this field is set to Active the B00 value will be sent. This field can also be set (by default) on the NL Customs Partner Role of the Importer/VAT responsible partner.
In the NL Customs Partner role, three fields have been added: Import documents to, Export document to and Transit Documents to.
The purpose of these fields is that they can be populated with one or more e-mail addresses, separated by a comma.
When a document is generated on a corresponding declaration, this document will automatically be sent to the e-mail address(es) provided.
This process will look at any partner in the declaration with a NL customs Partner Role.
The documents sent are:
|AGS Import||receipt of the DMSROG (Goods released) |
receipt of the DMSCLE (Declaration finished)
|Release document + Payment details|
|AGS Export||receipt of the DMSROG (Goods released) |
receipt of the DMSCLE (Declaration finished)
|Export Accompanying document|
|NCTS||Receipt of the IE029 (Goods released for Transit in TA procedure)||Transport Accompanying document|
